Quebec City, Canada – Back To The City Big Airs

After a huge European tour I am finally back in my home country! There is something so amazing about coming back into Canada, even though I’m not near my hometown it still feels like home!

It’s been a while since I have been on top of a scaffolding big air! For those who don’t know what that looks like, check out a photo here!

Hitting a scaffolding jump is a lot different than actually skiing down and hitting a jump on a ski hill. First, there is no where to warm up on snow, we literally get off the elevator, hike a few sets of stairs, put on our skis and ski straight down the ramp off of the jump. After the first few hits you start to get used to it, but no matter how many times I have hit a scaffolding jump, that first hit always gets to me!

Today was a great day of practice and the jump was really good for being a scaffold jump! I got my tricks dialed in for qualifiers tomorrow and luckily didn’t take any slams today so I am feeling good.

Check out a few shots from today :D
